Just another person wanting to learn from the experience of others. Not real comfortable with the "FNG" under my name. I haven't been an FNG since '69 in 'Nam.
FNG...er uh, Rock...can you tell us a little more about yourself? Looks like you have been here a couple of years and just stepping up for an introduction. Any projects in the works?
Almost complete '31 model A, building it as a tribute to my fallen Marine buddies in 'Nam. Painting it Marine Corps colors, Scarlet and Gold. I'm a retired Engineer. Been turning wrenches for 55 years. Love Ford Flatheads, and Mopar big blocks. Having some trouble finding the appropriate place to post. Lots of picky almost arrogant people on some forums, if you write the wrong word in a post, or don't build your car the way they want you to build it, they tell you to get the hell off! I don't join clubs or groups, it's part of my PTSD. I work on cars because they don't discriminate against disabled veterans.
Once your passed a 100 posts, I think the FNG tag will drop and you'll move onto Grenade Inpector. Just ride with the FNG tag and it will pass. CRUISER
Welcome from Maryland and Semper Fi. I think you're A is going to be great, incorporating two things that I love, Model A's and the Corps. What did you do when you were in? I was a mechanic and crewman on Hueys and Cobras. I look forward to seeing your work.
Rock <thumbs up>, welcome from Kansas City and I do apreciate our service members. With that intro I feel like I've known you for a while. As for the "wrong word in a post", you'll be fine as long as you don't mention r*trods or splicing a late model sub frame under your '31. Always great to have someone with your drive and respect.
Welcome from Yarram.Victoria.Aus. I also thank you for your service to our countries. Enjoy and learn in a great forum
Thank you for your service, from a active duty member currently stationed in South Korea. Welcome to the HAMB, even though it looks like you've been here longer than alot of us.
