That looks great man! Now I need to go light a fire under my old man so we can finish both 54's and the 38 Deluxe and find it a new home!

Nice job, those Merc's make great cruisers. I think I would convert it to an altenator with 12 volts though, sure makes them start better. Here is a pic of a 52 that my buddy owns, i had the pleasure of converting it to 12 volts and helping assemble it.

Hi all, I have since bought the 53 of noxided last year so that my family & I could drive around Texas & go to LSRU in austin on our trip from Australia. It's got a bit out of hand. We have since had install a big vintage air system, Australian seat belts, upgraded brakes, full tune, complete body & paint (same colour) new chrome bumpers & teeth & new hood/roof lining. Darren Wenzel (aussie living in Austin) will be striping just before round up. Can't wait to hit sth congress, the salt lick & all the hot spots in Austin. Noxided, if you read this it would be great to catch up while we are in town.

You did a great job on this resto. I would never have been able to do so much and have it turn out that nice.

I thought I was the only one that had a shop like that . I like working outside but I don't like sunburned bald head .
