I just wanted to give everyone a heads up about our gassers running at Bristol Dragway. The X-DRL will be running their event at Bristol on April 26-27th and I have secured 4 of our gassers for exhibition runs on both days. We will most likely be running sometime during the Pro Xtreme Pro Mod and Pro Stockers. As of right now it will be my Willys, Greg Porter's Nightstalker 55, and Jeremy Pearson's Boneshaker Ford plus one more. If everything works out, my nephew Donovan may make his debut in my old Anglia.

Of course I'll be there running my LeeBoy P/X car as well and would enjoy meeting some of you HAMBrs that have been posting and following my build threads on my Willys and Gene's Moonlighter Willys. Please stop by my pit and introduce yourself! I look forward to meeting some HAMBrs there!

That would be great to be able to see, I hope someone is snapping pictures and taking videos that can be shared with us that cannot make the round trip to attend.

2 of the 4 that will be there. The promoters requested stick shift cars only so look forward to some high RPM wheel standing guard rail to guard rail action out of all 4 cars. [IMG]

Love to see you guys run.
Think you can talk them into letting 'em run in Texas too?

This will be a good time for all. If you want to see some of the best doorslammer racing in the country, then this will be place to be! Wicked fast P/X and Pro Stockers with high reving gassers to top it all off.

3 of the 4 that are going to be there tested at Greer Dragway today we put on a good show just testing I about ran over every thing there, wheels in the air and wall to wall just like in 1965.Greg Porter made one of the best looking runs I have ever seen wheels about 1 1/2 feet in the air with the rear tires smoking at the same time then a wisp of smoke from the rear tires and back up in 2nd gear and carried them.I hope someone got it on video

And when you get done with the Texas swing, come on up to Rocky Mountain Raceway in Salt Lake (West Valley), then Douglas Motorsports Park, in Douglas, Wyoming. Just make sure you do it on my days off. ;) And if that Moonlighter Willys shows up, I'll do my best to put it on the trailer..........at the end of the day, very carefully, not touching the paint, with Mr. Cromer's permission of course ;)

  25. Quain, I've started a new Jackson Injected 416" SBC, that should make 725-750Hp. I'm also gonna try to shave another 100lbs off, and if I can get the 56 to run hard enough to hang with you guys, I will make a trip out. Wish I was there with you guys this weekend! Keep up the good work.

I love old gassers and they were just very cool and mean looking.

In the past few years I cannot tell you how many guys have contacted me who were building old gassers. There is a great deal of interest in building period correct old gassers from 40 Willy's to 55 Chevrolet and everything in between.

I hope all the track promoters are listening and watching because this is getting big all over again.

Jimbo period correct is the key to our success. I think we have the strictest rules of any Gasser deal out there. That's the reason we got the deal at Bristol. There are a lot of so called Gasser classes every where but there only rules are body and wheels. We made up our minds that if we were going to call them a Gasser it was going to be as close to the way they were as possible and not just an old body with a straight axle and I think most fans are seeing the difference.

Yeah me too HRP! Can't wait to meet some of the cool folks from the HAMB. Thanks for putting my video up like that...I gotta learn how to do that instead of just putting the link up there.
