I was very happy with the MT products Lincoln style brakes. (front only) I can't comment on the rears or on the Wilson ones. I bought the fronts fully loaded...shoes etc. The backing plates were so nice I just had to get em' chromed...

Neither offers the self adjusting parts. You will have to get them on your own. Bob Wilson has the best reputation. I used 1940 Ford reproduction drums with mine all the way around the car. We are talking 12" shoes and drums. Use 71-76 BIG chevy WAGON --ONLY for the shoes

Bob Wilson or Dick Spadaro are the only two guys I'd recommend. Speedway sells them too. Bob's front hubs are fantastic too..

Both Dick and Bob offer a HAMB discount too

I bought the complete front and rear MT Products set up with no problems. However, I did not use their rear wheel bearings as I was afraid they were made in China.

Try like heck to make sure none of the parts you buy are made offshore!

I have a set (4)of nice c4 Lincoln backing plates for the front and rear but need everything else and with e brake for the rear, what if a guy wanted to drill and weld in a e brake on a set of backing plates that are non ebrake, would you just cut a section out of a doner plate?any pics of the e brake area?

I just put a set of rears on my '40 Pickup. I got them from Boling Brothers, they are MT distributors. They are very high quality and well made. The "E" brake attaches to the shoes and only needs a hole for the cable to come out of the backing plate but I don't think I would try to modify the backing plates.

I got mine from so cal but i saw speedway has the same ones. I cant imagine there are too many people stamping them out. I saw speedway has stainless lined wheel cylinders now. I kinda want to try them.

I bought my 2 in. MT Lincoln brakes from Gary at Cornhuskers last year. Very pleased. Below are photos of installed parts not including drums. Brake drum runout was "0". I would now like to buy the parts to make them self adjusting, but not 100% who sells the correct parts. Anyone know for sure?
