... it's less than 2 months til "Scrap Drive" no. 7 in Belvidere, Illinois.
The date is Sat. June 8th, 2013. 7AM-4PM
Traditional Rod & Custom show and Swapmeet.
This year we are having the live band Dirty Fishnet Stockings play at our show, They are a Rockabilly band with thier own twist; they have a great following in the Northern Illinois area.
Cheap entry, swap and spectator fees again, plus 3 cash give-aways thruout the day.(all entries & swap vendors eligable)
Event T-shirts, Pin-Up contest by Peek-a-boo Pin-ups, model car display,Kent's Big Bar ice cream, good food, etc.
Hope to see a bunch of you there.

I'm going to try to make it again this year. I missed the last few.

 

Lookin forward to it this yea, Ill even have a car there for the fist time in 4 years

 

Dammit.. I really have to get the big block out of my '61 and fixed.. I would love to get to this show.. Heard nothing but good things about it..

 

been there the last 3 years, its worth going to it. I may have my p.o.s. there.

 

I love this show. Always a good swap and good atmosphere.

 

Sounds like fun is there any hotels anyone recommend close?

 

...10 minutes west on business route 20 on the east edge of Rockford there's dozens of motels,

And Sam will be there too. I am going to try to get there this year.

 

We will have a feature car in the main building this year; it's a Model A truck hot rod that won awards back in the 60's...I'm trying to get a few pics to put up to show you guys.

 

Just a little over a month to go.

 

Oh yea!!!!!!!! got 2 of the cars at the shop ready and working on my uncle to make this his goal to get his on the road

 

Still need to adjust my carbs and fuel issue. But I will be there for sure..
