RIP Don Gay

Don Gay, one of the "Coca Cola Cavelcade of Stars", past away June 30th.
at the age of 60.
Don raced the "Infinity" GTOs out of the family Dealership in the mid 60's retiring after the Death of his Brother Roy, in the 70s.
Don and Arnie Beswick had the 2 Chassis GTO Funny Cars in 66, and was known for driving in bare footed, as the "Texas Teen".
Don and his Family were owners of the old Houston International Raceway, and were Co Owners with the Angel Bros. until recently, in the Houston Raceway Park. The Family still owns the Dealership, Gay Pontiac, Buick, GMC in Dickinson, TX.
2 of his Sons followed him into Racing, Don Jr. Ran the later Infinity, until an accident in Colorado, forced an early retirement, and Shane, Retired to work in the Dealership
