I still cant believe that I stumbled into something like this. As tough as it is not to start on it soon, I have to build my 30 Tudor first. I will definitely do a build thread on it when I start.

We are leaving Sunday morning to pick up the 32. My wife and I are taking her crawfish cooker and cooking for the family. I may also be bringing back a 50 Chevy P/U that belongs to the owner. He wants me to put new cab corners in it for him and repair a rusty bed floor.

Im not sure exactly. I had a feeling that they would want a low price for it since they really didnt make a big deal about the car. I would have probably still got it even if he said 5k. You just cant find one everyday.

Picking it up Sunday afternoon. I cannot wait. He found the grill! He sent me a pic to identify it. It has a 6" diameter hedge busk growing through it. Been there for a while!

I commend you on telling what you paid for this great find, Some guys act like their roof is going to cave in on them or it will somehow change their whole life if they tell anyone what they paid for their hot rod project.

I have been meaning to post about the 32. I came down with a stomach virus Friday and had to put off picking it up til this Saturday. The son came by to visit and brought me a bill of sale, spreader bar, hood, fender, and headlights; so I paid him while he was here. I cleaned out a spot for it today. This will be the first body to go on my rotisserie!

Cool pic!! Here is Rusti working on a 40 Sedan that we got for parts. I may run that axle on my Tudor. We are building her a shop truck 40 and plan on using the Sedan front cap.

I just got home with the 32. I have to admit that I am VERY lucky to have found one in such a manner, but I am thankful for the opportunity to build it. I really do feel like I won the lottery. We will download more pics of picking it up later.
