The tank is beyond BAD ASS Josh. Thanks again. I wasn't planning on posting pics of the tank or the hood sides until load-in day. I didn't want to give up all the goods too early. Your tank is definitely "all the goods" LOL

Since this is a competition inspired car, I talked to Jo about doing a solid aluminum grill insert for show use. I'd love to have you letter it up with the "Chemical City Coupe" . With the full hood, no headlights, wheel discs and hard chop - I think the grill insert would be killer.

Thank you, Mr. Norwell. That complement, coming from a guy that knows bad-ass, means a lot to me.

Let's get together at Cobo and get a plan together for some T-shirts.

Larry, I have 3 looks in mind with the coupe. The primary look will be what we will have at Cobo, with the full hood, discs, etc... A secondary looks will eliminate the hood sides and replace the wheel discs with a set of pie-crusts mounted on some magnesium Romeo Palamides wheels. I'll mount some moons on the front. The final look will remove the hood all together and mount the headlights and headlight bar. This look will be completed with a set of 750-16 and 5.50-16 'stones mounted on '40 ford wheels - Shiny black of course. LOL

At least ya didn't call me Bubba this time... :D:rolleyes:

Haha, I love it, you're as f*cking nuts as I am. I've got more wheel, and tire setups than I can shake a stick at. Kinda like Emelda Marcos.

Hey, no model A spring? Where are the coil-overs???

Back end just needs some tail light lenses and lots of louvers. She'll sit a touch lower when all buttoned up.

    Diggin' it... :D

  18. Rich, If I catch you staring at my rear end all summer long, I'm gonna start wonderin' about ya.

No sir, they are non-automotive sand cast pieces turned into tail lights.
They seem to be a love 'em or leave 'em item. I love 'em!

Rooman can touch my shit anytime. Between Jo doing the heavy lifting and rooman, Josh Shaw and Ron Kerr adding their own little touches, I'm feeling pretty lucky right about now. Thanks all that have been involved.

I know what you mean Kev.

I'm hoping that there is a day or two time lapse between reality and the Hamb.

    OR

Jo isn't going to be sleeping much and will be bleeding knackerd by Wednesday.

No, actually only a few hours delay in some cases and yes, Jo will be knackered by the time he gets to Detroit. Willie Trump (of gray duece roadster fame) has been helping when he can, Jo's dad is up from Cincy for the weekend and I have been making small parts when needed. Spanky has been running back and forwards to Ryan (the painter) in Cincy as well so that Jo can stay focused in the shop.
By the way he is bringing three cars, Dave's Duece, the lakes modified and a flattie powered A Tudor.

No worries guys - the A team is on it and has it covered.

The way I look at it, Jo can be sending me updated pics or be working on the car. I'd rather have him working on the car.

l'll update thread when I can.

    It's all good.

So.... You're just gonna meet them at Cobo and drive the car in?

    Nice.

    That's the plan Kev.

Could I possibly get any more "gold chainerish" than that???
