Do you know of any ? The guys at the paint store couldn't recall any off hand. Especially with bigger metallic . There's a pickup trick full of paint chips to look thru but that's a few days worth of looking. Something close to this http://www.jegs.com/i/Duplicolor/318/MS300/10002/-1?parentProductId=763220
Cadillac used to have a group of colors called 'Firemist' - there were a couple nice reds. I don't recall the metallic being bigger, but it had a lot of flash.
Yes Cad’s from a few years ago had some outstanding metallic red’s … Lincolns also. Im planning to use one of them when I paint the drag boat.
Most likely a tri stage paint.. Caddiliacs and misubitchie "haha" used then both.. I painted a older galant something similar and it was almost like spraying a candy... There is a red base, pearl coat then clear...
I remember the Cadillac 'Firemist' colors being popular on repaints way back. It was definetly a step above as metallics went at the time. Had an El Camino done in a Firemist shade, and it really popped.
Hey Vic this is my wife's old '04 Chrysler Sebring. The color doesn't quite show up as it looks 'cause the sun was directly on it, it's closer to a pearl red.
