7th Annual Polar Bear Cruise presented by Bare Bones C.C Chicago

Should run it this weekend! Roads will be nice and clean after it rains. Just a thought. Gonna start at the golden coral i hear they got good b feast.

I'm following this, quite interested in bringing my pile out as long as they don't salt the roads between now and then.

 

Well, looks like the salting has started again, at least here.

 

Not so far on the North side.

 

I met the woman who would be my wife in late 07. In early 08, we went on the Polar Bear cruise. It was 0 air temp - not counting wind chill. My car doesn't have heat. She wore my sleeping bag.
In between the stops, we stopped for someone with car troubles. While I ran in for parts for the guy, she bought us coffee.
I knew she was a keeper.

I drove The Beast to work today. Looking to make it slightly reliable, and both of us are planning to return to the Polar Bear for the first time in too long!

 

i m in cary and i got 2 inches on the ground last night and its still snowin!! gonna be messy

 

no entry fee,,, i m there about 830

 

Can't wait!!! I hope to get a patch this time!

Im an hour and a half southwest of the city, 2" last night, more predicted tonight and they are salting the living hell out of everything.

I predict doughnuts in the parking lot!
