Bristol drag racing

I had posted this in the wrong section . I thought it was worth another shot

 

Great video, I remember the old drag way, it was a blast. Everything changed in 1999 with the new Bristol Dragway and it has lost a lot of it's luster. Thanks for the memories Skwurl.

 

Yea I first went in 79 or 80. It looked just like in the video.

 

I liked the old track better, nostalgic I guess, thanks for posing , kool

 

I grew up there,raced there,stood in the winners circle with family there.It was a great place.The new facilaty like most racing now is about being seen more than anything else.Brutton Smith can have all the fancy ness he can afford but it will never have the character and memmories the old track had.
