Dtopped axle '61 F100

    Does anyone out there know why dropped axles for a '61 F100 pu are so difficult to find a choice of availabilities. Years run up to '60 and then jump to ibeam style for 64/65> I am aware of Nostalgia Sid, who is running behind on supply. Also , any hints or suggestions on flipping the rear end to over the leaf springs. Thanx, Lou

    Look here. This one is a racer, and he lowered it by moving the front axle to the top of the spring pack. It has some aspects that might not be optimal for a streeter (like ten degrees caster...), but the engineering and workmanship is first-rate. The rear of the truck is lowered as well, but I don't believe he moved the axle there.

    I've got a new (less than a yr old) 3" drop with new kingpins and disk brakes ill sell if your interested
