Well, think it's about time, that I introduce myself, and tell you guys'n girls about my 37 master! I live in Norway, but was born and raised in Denmark. I have always had a thing for cars, but my fascination with american vehicles didn't sprout until I was 25. I have since then had a few! hehehe To many to mention! But when I got closer to 40, I decided, that I wanted a rod. But I wanted to build it myself! So the chase started, and I looked at a lot of cars. They were either to expensive, or to rusted away, and a few were both. So I roamed the internet, and the classifieds for a long time, until I found one, on facebook, of all places!! It was a rusted old 1937 Chevrolet Master, with a lot of pieces missing! But most of it was there, and I do like a challenge! So, I sold my old 1986 F250, and bought the Chevy, UNSEEN!!! Yes, I know, that's not smart. but what the h..l! We all do stupid things from time to time! One late February evening, I got a call, on the phone! "Where do you live, I'm on my way with the Chevy!" So a few hours later, this came up my driveway! That was the first time I saw the car live! Other than that, these pictures was enough for me to pay up, the 2500$ he wanted for the car! I have now had it for almost a year, so more pictures are coming!
Well, The day after, after a few cups of coffee, I went to work, tearing the car apart. Tying to find out as much as possible, about whats in the car, and how much rust there was! Turns out, there were a lot more than I hoped, but a little less than expected! Don't know why, but someone welded the front fenders to the nose of the car! The 2 engines got sold pretty fast! I don't need them! More later!
This is later! hahaha After a few days moving stuff out of my shed, I got working on the front fender! Have spent a few hours, and more to come! Found a few pics from before i started tearing the car apart! And a few from inside my shed! Had to move the master in order to scrap that d..n ford! And a little more work on the fender! Want more?

Nice work, love to see old American stuff getting fixed up, ESPECIALLY outside the US. I've been lucky enough to spend some time in Denmark and it's a neat place. Good job with the old iron and have fun!!!

Thanks guys, having a lot of fun with this car! hehehe Sandblasting were the only option The other piece, needs blasting to Before sandblasting, I cleaned all the old paint and rust, just to see what I had to work with! More to come!
Keep up the good work. That is a lot of rust to fix, but you are making progress. I am sure that finding parts in Norway is very difficult, so either fix what you have or pay shipping to get parts from the US. What drivetrain are you going to use?
My Headlights are a bit rusty as well, and well, you'l see later This is my TH350C, I got it for free, and gave it a rebuild, and painted it! The trunkfloor is rusted out, and I tried to repair it, but the endresult was not, as I wanted, so just a few pics of what was! Doesn't look bad, but it's thin, so, I'll just make a new one! These are all old pics, going back almost a year!
We had a lot of rain last year, so I spend a lot of time inside the shed I had a small accident, with a grinder, and had to get a few stitches, and was told NOT to bend my finger! Duct tape works!! hehehe The nosepiece after zinkprimer! Every time I paint something, a bug always commits suicide! what's up with that, they don't like my windscreen anymore?? You clearly see the dent, from 1953! It's not supposed to be perfect, but a driver. Perfect comes later! hehehe
Forgot what the number were, so I zeroed it out! hehehe Will have to do something about the colors. Brown on brown is not my favorite!

At the moment it's minus 15 degrees Celsius (5 degrees Fahrenheit) so I'm sitting inside, doing as little as possible! well, not really. Drawing wiring diagrams, chasing parts, talking to friends from all over the world, just waiting for the temp to rise!! More pics, from our wonderful rainy summer!! Didn't take long before, I had another accident, with the grinder! A lot of welding ahead of me And my youngest son gave me a hand.
Easiest way to check the fit, is to mount the door! More fitting! Inside pics My neighbor had a visitor, and what a car!! hehehe
These are my favorite tools. My plate-scissor is from 1953 and a gift from my late stepdad, He was a great man. Home made ballhammer! My anvil, 6 inches of a railroad track Three hours on the net, finally found the original measurements for the master! More fresh steel!
More pics, from summer! (We had a few weeks without rain!) Grinder with steel brush = ouch No battery under my floorboard, I'll rather have that in the trunk! Wanted to clean the floor, so I know whats under the dirt and rust!

Did clean the floor, the day after! Had to change the wheels on my beadroller Even the best made plans, can go wrong, if you don't pay attention! I didn't, so more welding for me!!
Thanks guys, It means a lot to me. A friend of mine gave me this idea! Cut the end of one of my impact tools, to make another tool, and it works! New steel is needed, where there's no primer!
So far so good, look like you got a lot of work ahead of you. Plenty of stuff is out there for the car. Good luck.
