whats your favorite filler primer ?

    201.30/gal and 81/85/qt catalyst...that's why I switched to Nason (DuPont budget brand). It's not K36 but what the hell...it's just an old hotrod!
    That's Nason epoxy on the doors and hood...primer surfacer on the body.

    UPOL 2252 is GREAT Stuff. Never had a problem.

    somebody gave me some dupont stuff from a dealership a few years back. I wish I'd writtendown what it was because I LOVED it. filled great, sanded easliy--but it's spendier than my budget normally allows.

    Another Z-Chrome user here. It really bites into bare metal, fills great.
    It seemed to sand kind of hard, but it doesn't shrink like some of the others. I'd rather it take me a little longer to sand rather than deal with it shrinking up.

    just curious , but, can i ask why 4 or 5 coats at a time? what are you trying to fill? i use sikkens colorbuild 3 part high build primer for high end repairs and overalls, and u-tech 2k primer for everything else. a little more pricey than most, but results are second to none.

    I use USC 2620-1 & 2615-4 catalist Its a 2k filler primer,light gray. Ive been using it for about 5 or 6 years & its the best Ive used & worked with. Very easy to use,block,fill. Sometimes I dont even seal b4 painting & never have problems.I always have some in stk. great product.

    Rage gold/ extreme. Then p30 primer.
