Some progress pics. of my '40. Still finishing up the upholstery. I used a four wheel drive fork lift to pull this out of the forest near by where I live. It was given to me by my neighbor. I've worked on it off on on for about the last nine years. It was truly a lesson in how costly free can be!

The before. The day that we dragged it out of the woods here in Maine

 

The after. We just delivered it to it's new home in New York this past week.

I know there are earlier before pix around here somewhere from the '50's & 60's but this is the closest I could find.

 

I love these before and afters! I have 1952 Chevy P.U. 5-window, 235 straight v-6 that I purchased from an old guy in 1981 . . . who's bedroom walls were the same color as the brush painted truck . . . and 32 years later . . . still is . . .my son has it now in Portland, OR and plans to do what I never had time nor money to do . . . restore it! When he does, I will for sure post a before and after on here.
