    hey everyone thanks for all the input.. i finished it last night its getting the pinstripe outline today.. ill try to throw a couple pics on here later. dennis.. yup the merc is all fixed, although im repainting it today, even with blending the color was so far off i have to do it again

    Thank you, that means alot.
    Sometime in the near future I'll have to throw finished pictures of it into this thread. As far as the layout goes - I just started laying fineline and that's what I wound up with. I didn't really have an idea of the end result before I started.. honestly I just started to lay the tape and let the body guide me towards the overall direction and feel.

    Real flames - a bunsen burner at various mixtures and a simple candle. So, why don't we see more that start in shades of blue and go to red / yellow? Gary
