fuel pump pressure?

    my mechanical fuel pump on my 63 country sedan 289 stopped pumping but only at tickover for some reason, i am gonig to change it to a electric pump as im also now converting to lpg . does anyone know what pressure pump i need ?
    the engine is a stock 289 with 65,000 miles on cllock and is 100% original

    A good 6 psi pump at the tank should give you a good 4-5 psi at the needle and seat, that's all you should need for the old stocker.

    Thank you all, ordering tonight a 4-6 psi facet pump and an inline regulator to be safe. :)
