Just put Tony's '32 on the drawing board to present to him at the March Meet. So sad I was a bit late. R.I.P., Tony, my friend.

I've been compiling these albums since just after Ernie passed away...so sad...it's important to honor these racers!

We must have been close to each other that day because I vividly remember the hood in the air, and going over to the car when he stopped and looking at that mangled manifold. One of those moments people don't forget.

 

A legend. Condolences to Tony's family.

 

God speed. Never met the man, but have been reading about him since I was old enough to read.
