Hello. I signed up quite a while back and was a lurker before that. I have been putting off this intro because frankly I was petrified! This forum has quite a rep...and I am a pretty seasoned car forum gal. To be honest, I have been more of a "sport compact" person in my day, but have found myself venturing out over the years and have found that I am, quite frankly, a lover of ALL cool cars. Currently, I do all of the web marketing/blogging for a local resto shop here in GA and I also just started to write for an online car mag. I am hoping that the H.A.M.B. will be a good place to learn more from seasoned vets.
Welcome from the Great State of Maine! What are you afraid of? Just don't use the RR word and you will be cool. Do you have a project or favorite year build style?
I'm not afraid, per say. I just know how the keyboard cowboys can be I have been on car forums since 1999 and have experienced a lot in that time. I guess if I were afraid, it is because I am pretty new to the world of classics and muscle cars...so I am in unfamiliar territory and am not used to not knowing my sh*t. Like I said, I have been a sport compact girl most of my days. My boyfriend and I co-own a performance shop and have for the past 12 years. I know my way around an engine bay and used to race cars for quite a many years, but that is all fuel injected "ricer" stuff. This is a whole new beast. Anyways, like I said, I am here to learn and I can't wait! I love all sorts of cars and have gotten sort of bored with my regular corral of knowledge. I'm ready to be excited and stimulated again
