I'm pretty new to this site as well. And even though I haven't posted alot on here yet. There is tons of advice and technical support on here which is nice. It seems to be a little rowdier crowd,then some of the other sites I belong to, but that is in no way a bad thing.I think most people will find they get what the came here to find, it be parts, advice, ect ect. Most of my projects are all oddball cars,in some sence, (not your run of the mill model A's), so the crowd is definitely smaller for people of the same interests and what not, but it's still where I always go when I need to look for something, or find something out.

I find it humorous lately that guys that have been on the hamb since 2009 are talking about the "good old days".........

With 200K people, it had to change. It's evolution.

I talk to a lot of my old hamb friends offline. The core group that was here when I started all seem to talk.

Nostalgia ain't what it used to be....

 

We all couldn't have joined in the dark ages of the HAMB. We may have been actually working for a living, messing with old cars under a shade tree, or had no idea WTF internet and computers were.
As for me, all of the above. Then I came here because I was told it's a great place to learn and share crap about traditional hotrods.
So let's get serious and stop pickin on those whinny assed bitches. It just ain't right.
I was also told on another vehicle site that some guys talk nasty and pick on us quiet serious members. I knew it had to be a lie because real car guys don't pick on other car guys. A sense of humor is not required to be a member. So let's get back on topic.............. What was the topic?

 

Now when you try and crack a joke it has the old codgers spewing out their Metamucil in disgust. What happened?

 

Maybe its the humor itself that got safe and lame.

Regurgitating "Henway" and "Cumdumpster" jokes, and posting "what car?" if there is a pic of a car with a girl next to it....
