Hello... Everybody knows I am a Deuce guy...in reality I like '32-'34s about the same. About 6 weeks ago, I was contacted by a guy saying he has just bought a bunch of early fords (mostly '35 trucks) & they were going to sell these 2 coupes. They had bought them from an older guy who just couldn't work on them anymore. Last week, I finally got to see them. The 5w isn't too bad, the 3w was cut into pieces (I was told to fit on a trailer from out west) years ago. All of this stuff has been sandblasted & primed. I think the 3w was an old race car; it has had sheetmetal screwed over the decklid & by the looks of the top may have been rolled. They came with one very nice original frame, 1 new & and 1 original decklid, several patch panels, several dashes & windshield frames, 2 complete floorpans, several sets of subrails (new & original), 2 complete sets of decent fenders, and some rear sedan fenders. Also, complete garnish sets for both cars, & 2 extra sets of what appear to be 4 door sedan doors. I have already started on the 5w, I channeled the subrails 2" over the weekend. Plans are for a fairly heavy lakes style chop...after finishing my '32 I want to build something a little more sinister & I have always been drawn to early lakes coupes... Sam
Probably will sell the fenders & some extra parts that I won't need for the cars...starting to run out of room. Sam
great find! and with everything in pieces like that it hardly takes any room at all. i really like the channel on the 5w. makes it look stock. very cool.
wow, insane find! You don't happen to have any 3W coupe or 2dr sedan doors do you? Even if theyre screwed up?
Score!! The 1933/1934 Ford three window is one of my top ten favorite cars, just a fantastically styled vehicle.
That kind of mess is hard to ignore!!! Great find. I've go some '34 5-window patch panels that are not gonna get used. Pm me if you need any. .
A three window and a five window at the same time! That is one great score - I look forward to seeing the builds on your projects.
