YEP Rocky,---he red '29 in front was Duane Kofoed's & the yellow
32 bobbed fendered on left was Carl Shrode's---This pix is from late '60's Roadster Roundup in either Fresno or Visalia I believe.

    "Plunk your magic twanger, Froggy!"

Now THAT brings back some memories. Hadn't heard or seen the name Smilin' Ed for many, many years. Like somebody else said, my granddaughter wonders what I'm talking about.

The Old Motor Feature Series – The New York to Paris Great Race of 1908

Starting today and monthly we are going to be running the story of the race by Jeff Mahl, George N. Schuster’s Great Grand Son along with some of his very rare photos.
Schuster was the driver for most of the trip and is seen above behind the wheel after the race in New York. Stop by as you are sure enjoy it.

His son was a radio announcer in our little town in Northern Wisconsin back in the 70's. He shot himself in a apartment across the street from my folks house.

Watch it and send a link on to friend to put a smile on their face. We don't know how to post it on the H.A.M.B. but you can See it here.
