this is the reason i have 3 hamb friendly rides and a few o/t rides. i used to get bored with them and want to sell them and move on to the new "must have". then the regret sets in, telling yourself w.t.f. did i just do. so now me and my brother just look for inexpensive stuff to build so we can get new stuff to play with, yet keep the old ones.

my biggest regret was long before i even knew what i had. when i was a kid we had a 29 dodge that we drug from house to house and my dad hardly ever worked on it(was a basket, but had most of everything). when i was about 16 after the parents were divorced we moved into a house that need a ton of work and we didnt have much money at the time. the new neighbor saw the 29 in the backyard and had a friend that wanted it, so my mom sold it for $800. it had more than that worth of chrome done. i didnt think much of it then because all i cared about was vw's and loud stereo's.

I also had a '62 Poncho 421 SD Catalina that I'd give me eye teeth to get back. All were a wonderful experience too. I love cars especially what are now being called Classics.

While it's not a usual HAMB appropriate vehicle, the only car I ever owned that I'm sorry I don't own now is my '67 E-Type roadster. Two weeks after graduating from college engineering school and landing a decent job, I treated myself to the Jag since it was love at first sight in 1961. Back then, never enough crumpets, either.

Wish I'd held onto this one, last I heard it was in Arizona. But, it looks nothing like this now.

I often wonder what happened with it after it went to a new owner.

Sold this one in Dayton, Ohio back in 1979. It had a strong running 327 single 4 bbl with a 4 speed trans.

Anybody remember it in the area.

My first car. Built it with my Dad (mostly Dad) and it was totalled a month after I sold it.

Pic taken in '72. 1970 Plymouth vert. Seemed like the thing to do at the time - sold it & got a '69 Malibu, no regrets, haven't owned a Mopar since.

  27. I liked them all, but there are two I'd really like to have back. My first car 69 impala custom, it's long gone. The other is my 55 Chevy 150 sedan. Last seen in chandler Indiana in the late nineties. If you've seen the 55 let me know.
