That,my man, is the perfect stance in my view!.....those Parrot nosed Fords make good looking cars when sat right, I think the word, tough, sums up the look....nice car, I like it a lot.

Awesome new stance, what are your other future plans for it?

  11. Love that car. The stance is great.

Any idea how/why it has '39 Standard grille and hood sides?

Sent from my your moms house using whip cream and chocolate suyrp.

I like the stance and see that the bumpers are mounted properly, not to be a wise guy,but most are mounted up side down.:D

I do not know why it has a 39 front end on it. I wonder if it was wrecked at one time, There is no patch panels in the floor or fenders and it is a real solid car so a wreck or someone taking off the dog house off for some reason and it got seperated from the car, You asked HOW, will they not just bolt on in place of the other? The guy that had it owned a bodyshop and closed it in 85 and this car was his retirement project. He passed away and left the car to the family whom I bought it from, I do not know any other history besides that.

What is the difference in the lower grille between 38 deluxe and 39 standard? Fenders and hood the same?

Beautiful car and a nice job on the changes you made. Old Fords really do not need much to improve on their already good looks.
Looking forward to seeing it progress. Thanks for posting.

  29. That looks great! It sit perfect and tires set it off nicely.

Have you driven it in the dark yet? You may want to keep the fog lights for a little extra light. The big globe headlights don't do much to direct the light. It's a shame because they look cool as hell in my opinion. If you do take the fogs off I might be interested in them for my car.

Keep the pics of updates coming.
