Its hard to find 14s that are suposed to carry the weight of my wagon used ones at least plus i think 15s look better i think my rims are 5x4.5 i used the search and google couldent find any steel wheels

Ford and Mopar are correct. Be careful however, because I think the lug nuts may have a different angle. Back when I was in college, I had a '55 Dodge and a '52 Ford. Depending on which was running the best, I'd move tires (and wheels) between them. The Mopars on the ford were all right, but the Fords on the Mopar always seemed to loosen up and needed constant re-tightening. Might have just been the marginal stuff I was running back then. I also remember that disc wheels from Jaguars of the day also fit.

  12. I found a Crown Vic Interceptor and got a set for my '59 Edsel.
Those will accept poverty caps, standard Vics don't.
I now have them on my '62 Thunderbird.

I can't believe how tough those wheels are to find.
A couple years ago I had a full set,
and just left them at the old shop when I moved.
Now they're harder to find then 16" early fords!
The early studebakers have a cool early look without the hubcap hump.

For '73 the FoMoCo fullsize (Galaxie, LTD, Marquis, Continental etc.) went to 5 on 5" until they downsized for '78-'79. The midsize and 5 lug small cars stayed 5 on 4.5"

Jeep Cherokee also runs a 4.5 bolt pattern. The list is pretty long but you need to measure the center hole to make sure it will fit on the Edsel hub.

I paid $40 for a set like this with the caps and trim rings.

  21. Be sure your Edsel is 5 on 4.5 before you buy wheels. I thought Edsel had 5 on 5 like Mercury, Buick, Olds, Pontiac, Chevy and Ford wagons, Chevy full size pickups, Astro and full size vans, etc.

My 54 plymouth has 5x4.5 as well as most fords. Even my Car Trailers have that bolt pattern. Pretty common

  23. Volvo's use 5x4.5 wheels.

  24. That is correct BUT only the older models like 444 544 the Duett ("544 wagon") and the 121-123 series (Amazon)

From the 140 series and up until today they have a millimeter bolt-pattern (5X108 mm = 5X4.25 in.)

if they are hard to find in the US, try looking for a used set over here! Like hens teeth!!

Interesting that someone said Toyota pick up might fit though, I'll investigate that
