    Car originally ran a 331 SBC and Clutchflight with a "truck push button" shifter. This thing hasn't seen light since the mid late 70's. It is in umbelievable shape. IMAG1470.jpg

    I LOVE IT! Hey I'm gonna sell allll my olds rearend and parts if ya know anyone I can p.m. specifics. I have alot of good parts in it.4:88 & 5.57 gears MW 35 spline spool 37-1/4 inside of backing plate to inside of backing plate,1/4"thick 4-link mts.

    Clay bar that finish c l e a n and then bury the surface daily with Meguires #7. Leave it on over night. Rub it with micro fiber towel. Repeat 'till you hate life. This would be the safest way to shine that old lacquer.

    Very cool! That shifter brought back memories for me! A friend had a '55 Chevy sedan and we swapped in a 413 with torqueflite and used the pushbutton shifter in a pedestal we built. Looked a lot like your setup! That was back in 1968!
