so...big deal....who doesn't have one of those sitting around? but seriously folks - that is a beautiful engine, what's not to like about a flattie V12?
It doesn't seem like there is very much 'wrap' on the waterpump pulleys with the belts in that 'square' configuration...just curious if there are better ways of dealing with lack of belt contact. I'm running a tiny 471 on my little flattie and had to play around a little to get good grip at the waterpumps. Ended up adding an idler down low.
Hi I run blowers on my engines and there is alot of pull on the belt. Do you think the bearings in the generator will handle the load that the blower will put on them at speed? Might want to watch that to see how they hold up. James
For all the naysayers, I think the fellas at H&H know what they are doing. If you've ever seen their creations in person, you would believe.
Killer. I can't imagine how much it cost to build that!! Ditto on the video of it running and hp specs! Posted from the TJJ App for iPhone & iPad
What he said. Gotta lovit though...Looks badass, and I'm sure it will be fun to sort out when fired up.
I had the same thought when I saw the front of the engine. I'd be most concerned with the contact on the crank pulley, or lack of it. It has to turn a lot of stuff up above. Beautiful engine, but I'm thinking that there might be more than tires squealing.........
