i dont know much about them but had someone interested in running one of these setups in a hotrod with a small block ford. is there any interest or technical advise or is this something better off under the hood of a mustang
Bring Lots of money - they are pretty damn rare and the last set up I saw sell went for north of FIVE GRAND!
It is a really cool looking shop decoration. It was developed for trans-am racing and while it is not even close to the same, I would pretty much compare it to a mechanical hilborn injection used on the street for how practical it would be.
Ya need a set of Cleveland 4V heads for that small block to use that intake... Ya beat me too it Bob...
It was manifold and carb, no air cleaner and well used. As for running one on the street? No way Jose. They pretty much suck under about 5,000 RPM. Designed for Trans Am racing and a power band of 5-7500 RPM or so
If my memory is still working, they ran well from 9000rpm up...those TransAm motors all worked at high rpm only....not a street setup....oops Don beat me to the answer
