Customs 1950's style carpet edged in white..photos?

Been searching for 50's interiors with white edging carpet for Custom's? Any help photos would be great? Thank you.

I may get lynched for asking this ... but apart from 'every day' how do you keep white edging clean if your car is used year in, year out?

It's not a trick question, i'm just curious. I figure that if most modern car manufacturers make the carpets all black there has to be a reason (that being: dirt).

 

I'm guessing that white carpet edging stays clean if it's not in a daily driver.

And, in the pre-internet days, there were quite a few more hours in the day for detailing.
