I had a horn question in another thread with people asking for more pics, so I'll start thread over here.

This '27 Ford model T Roadster was built by a well-known builder Dave Schaible of Danville, CA, Dave specializes in the Ford Model T. He builds and races this type of car still this day. Known in some parts as "Junkyard Dave", he has a reputation (Hot Rod magazine) of being the father of Rat Rods. Although he doesn't think of his cars as a true "Rat Rod". He insists that his cars are simply the car guys built in the 40/50's to race on the streets...souped up jalopies as he says. I had this car since June and have done a few things to it myself, but find it hard to improve what Dave has created. Steel body, 350 crate motor, old 2 speed powerglide tranny on a model A frame.

    A few additional pics-

I'd call that a hot rod. Definitely not a rat rod.

it appears to be on a model a frame but it looks as if it is on a perimeter frame. any info on the frame?

It's a Model A frame that has in fact been modified with mid frame K'ing. Back is heavily framed with the back lower section being rather heavy stock. Super light weight, plenty of horsepower for this little go cart.

Loud and fast, a stress reducer...just what the doctor ordered. LOL

Our warehouse is located in an industrial part of town...ghost town after 6pm and weekends. Take it out and run it hard up and down the strip and get it "back in the barn" before Johnny Law can come seeing what all the commotion is about. LOL It's quiet enough around town, I seem to stay on the good side of men in blue around here.

it looks like the model a frame has been widened toward the back. do you have more photos of where the body meets the frame.
