  11. Great car! But I just gotta wonder.......what is at the very top of yhour bucket list? My 34 [with 33 front sheetmetal and 33 styled doors] is right there at the tippy top of my list and that's why I have zero plans to sell it. I just don't want anything more than my 34 coupe.
And if I did, I damned sure wouldn't have used Pontiac power. [which I am] I'm absolutely gob-smacked nobody has said one single negative word about you using a Pontiac engine! Blows me away everybody [so far] seems to like the engine.
Love your car but your car is just one more reason I can't paint my car black. You already did.
Mine has to be at least a little bit different than yours.

  12. Rocky,,Jeff doesn't use any other engines in his builds,,,He's a PONTIAC man. HRP

Fantastic. I'm the guy in TN that gathered up the pile of parts that was the beginning of this project. If you want to see what the car really started out as, check out my avatar - that's me sitting inside the body the day that I brought it home. Portions of this car's body came from NC, SD, CA, PA, and NE - just to get it to the point were FlamedAbone picked it up!

Sir, I sold the car because I had found and purchased a better one. I only wish that I had made half the progress on the better car that you made on this one. Let me add my complements on a job well done. Excellent result. I can't imagine anyone not being pround to be the next owner of this car.

  14. Absolutely beautiful car - congratulations! I hope to someday build something half as nice... But at least I'm starting soon. :)

Once again, another perfect execution of the Abone formula.

Take one pile of parts that no one else wants, add one large Pontiac engine, a large bucket of black paint, a bunch of good taste, a ton of talent, and 2 tons of hard work.

The result? One BADASS hot rod that any of us would be proud to own.

    Great job.

  23. Great job...love the Pontiac motor. You must really, really like sanding to keep painting things black. :)

  24. Beautiful...!

To Beautiful to go fast... Is this your version of a "No Go Show Boat"...? Hahaha...

What' do you think it'll do in the Quarter?

I was actually suprised to see a post where the guy says his car is DONE and it actually is done. seems too many "done" cars these days still need paint, bodywork, chrome, detailing, interior and glass.

    nice job.
