1949-50 / 1951-52 Chevy car front fender interchangeability

I know this has likely been covered before, but after spending some time searching I cannot find the answer. Besides the grille area, are there any major differences between the front fenders on the 1949-50 and 1951-52 Chevrolet cars?

 

fenders are the same except on 51-52 has a raised area where the "horseshoes" bolt to, I am not as familiar with a 49-50 but I believe there is a little square cutout for the grill, As you said only the grille area
