Awesome, thanks guys! She's gettin dropped and louder this weekend! For cost savings, I think I decided to polish up mu current caps and throw 'em back on for now. I think polished caps will look pretty decent when it sits lower. Stay posted for more pics this weekend!

So, more progress! Lowered in the rear which brought the overall stance to right where I want it. Also welded in a straight pipe for now until duals go on in the Spring. Sounds AWESOME! I also decided to go with the caps, polished them up, and I think it is looking awesome. I'll let the pictures talk!

Been forever since I have been posting here. Being in the midwest with the snow, and no heated garage makes staying motivated tough. But after being at the WoW show yesterday, and see all the guys out made me real excited to get back at it!! Can't wait to see you guys all out there soon!

Before you cut coils, call Detroit Eaton Spring and see how much they have hem for. I paid $290 for front coils and rear leafs for my old Fairlane ( the one in my avatar. That was the result)

Random post, but the wife asks me to go out and grab a few things from the store. My first thought is, "sweety, you have the car" (we are on car home) then think, "the Caddy is in the garage!" Fired it up, and ran out. What a great feeling! It's awesome getting crazy looks driving such an old car in this weather.

  13. Hey nice cad! Good job on the springs! I cut about 1 1/2 coils out of mine. that along with the almost 50 year sag and its perfect. yours should still ride great too.

Nice Caddy. I can see Jake and Elwood Cruzin' through Chitown in that ride.

Haha! I like it. I actually live only a few minutes from the West Wind motel in West Chicago, one of the filming locations!! I should get down there for a quick photo shoot!

    Your Caddy looks great.
Last year I was looked at a '65 4dr a guy had for sale.
For some reason (maybe fate) it didn't sell and he moved it back behind his house. I'm going to go look at it again and see if I can make a deal.
I have also said I wanted to own a Caddy before I die, maybe this will be my dream.

  21. I did a 57 Coupe Deville in 2007-2008. It was great cruising around in a car that you rarely see on the road. Good luck with your build and enjoy it.
