Hi, I own a 1953 Ford F100 that my father has owned since 1964. I inherited it in 1995 when he passed away at 52. I had always wanted to build a street rod with my dad; either a 55 Chevy or a 32 Ford, but for various reasons, it never happened. So here I am now, 44 and the owner of a really cool truck that I cannot do anything with since I have absolutely no skills. Despite all that. I plan to have the truck ready by September for the Billetproof show in Antioch and the Antique Car Show in my hometown of Alameda the following month. Thanks for reading!

Well, I got it all prepped and oiled up for its first start in almost 20 years -- it started right up! Here is a short video: http://youtu.be/d2mdJMeUTIw
Well, we missed bulletproof due to supplier and fabricator. Almost missed Alameda's show too for the do same reasons, but thanks to a great group of guys, their families and my wife, we got it going just in the nick of time. Mission accomplished!
