why dont i see more people doing them? seem like cool looking car, i just picked up a 4 door OG with some sweet patina i was kinda thinkin bags and white walls and roll it........cant be a rare car so just not a cool car?
Cooters right about one thing you should introduce yourself but he's way off on the roof line..Heres one I have for sale here. I think the roof looks sweet...
Cool thanks, i said Hi in that forum, yeah i think the roof line is cool, but i do like early Chevy coupe roof lines. i built a shoebox a few years back it was fun to. just wondering why not a Plymouth.......so thanks. prob start a build thread and go for it.
Lots of us Mopar guys here, but too many in the outside world think the world revolves around the SBC & early Fords. Go for it. Plenty of Threads on the 46-54s, pretty much simular cars.
That's quite the blimp hangar ya got there... I have a non-HAMB 51 Concord 3W business coupe. Chopping the top and laying the pillars forward made a WORLD of difference. I'm going completely off the chain with it now...
Yup they are cool, I carsoned a 4 door 50 I had. Lots of compliments. Cooter is a hater. Sent from my DROID device using the TJJ mobile app
46-54 Plymouths are the bees knees! I love the simple styling and mechanicals that seem to run forever. And modded right look great to buut!
Hey PN, love the pic of your 50' next to the Bug. I'm actually in the midst of trading my 64' Bug for a 53' Cambridge 2 door. Good stuff!
As dad used to say about his moms car (white) Walter P Chrysler thought you should be able to drive with your hat on. Thus the high roofline Posted from the TJJ App for iPhone & iPad
Hey thanks guys! yeah it was an RV garage but that seemed like a waste of good space, so i build cars in there now! can fit two full body classics bumper to bumper with no prob! i also have a lift in there now so life is good and set for winter! haha i mostly do VW's but when i find a cool classic American car i grab it. trouble is cant seem to hold onto them!
I love these cars there easy to get into and you can do lots with them. dont like the roof cut it off and carson it
Well I was dead set on getting a pre-war Ford, and look what I ended up with! (see avatar) Although I love old fords, the Plymouths are a nice change of pace and I don't see a ton of them - around here anyways... Good luck on the build! Welcome to the HAMB Mopar fam.
