Sorry Mike no rear fenders, you putting fenders on yours?

My cousin Puke thinks it looks better with the hood?

It is amazing how much work can be done in a week when you get to focus. Doesn't look bad without the hood but looks better with it.

Getting ready to fire off the old truck.

I found out the holes in the top of the cab came from a sign with the town name when the truck was being used in a yearly parade.

You nailed the stance with raising the rear. I'm a little partial to the hood as well. It's coming along great!

I think they are very close to being the same. At one point I got tired of it being so low in the front...tearing up the fenders and valance.... so I raised it up an inch. It looked like crap and played with my mind so much it only lasted a couple of days and back down it went. I just learned to drive a little slower....

Time to figure the bed floor out. The frame notches interfere with the bed floor. After starting to raise the bed floor 2 inches I decided to cut out the area and build a metal cover. I've seen it both ways and this way my cooler won't slide around.

Beer security is so traditional, I am really shocked there is not more threads about it on the HAMB.

I did... :( I sold mine a few month ago to help me finish my current project. If I did build another one of these I would keep the fenders and the hood sides. These trucks look great with all the sheet metal. Thank you for the compliment, I do miss it a lot :(

Cleaned up the original guages, oil pressure guage only goes up to 30lbs should be ok? Speedway voltage drop for gas and off to the races as they say.

I think you may have some issues using that gauge with a modern engine. I wonder if there is some kind of pressure snubber or reducer you can install and just do the math as you are driving??
