About a month or so ago I got connected with Summit Rod and Custom, in Morristown, NJ. I had a conversation or two with John and Russ and the work on my 52 started. The plan is to get the new suspension, brakes and exhaust installed and get the car road worthy. During the initial work we decided to do a little bit more... Needless to say, I can't wait to get the 52 back. I know this is just the beginning of something great! Not sure if it'll stick, but I want to name the 52 "Sinister".

Here are a couple pics... the 52 getting picked up, some new suspension and brakes. Thanks to hellcat666 and John at Summit Rod and Custom!

The chevy's still with Summit Rod and Custom. Went to the shop this weekend to check everything out. The stance is almost where i want it to be, exhaust is sounding good and i'm excited. Wide whites and period correct steering column and wheel are next! More updates soon!

Very cool ! Now that it's "roadable" you can do the other mods whenever you have the time and the cashflow .

Got my 52 back!!! I'm happy she's road worthy and running like a champ. Here are a few pics. Still have body work and some other things on the punch list, but I had her out for the first drive and was all smiles.

I agree! Lose that car! Any Chevy from '49-'52 should have been crushed years ago! :D
