Radium Hot Springs Show n' Shine!

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by TairyHesticles, Sep 15, 2012.

  1. Now first things first I'm going to apologize for the quality of a lot of these pictures and the size. I was a bit flustered, every which way I turned I seen something that caught my eye so a lot of the pictures turned out to be just engine shots, or only one angle of certain vehicles. I'm pretty sure theres a picture of the interior of a car and thats it, no other pictures of it. Also for the size, I'm 17 and dont know how to resize a picture apparantly. So bare with me here if ya can! :D

Usually 800-900 vehicles, can't beat the mountain venue. Second Saturday every September for the last 23 years.

Thanks for the pics.Looks like a pretty good show, maybe I'll check it out some day.

  7. What a beautiful spot for a car show. Thanks for the pics, and great to see another young guy on the HAMB, especially from BC.:D

  8. Good job on the pics.
I didn't have much problem with the large size, but likely a problem for
    those still with dial up.

If you first put the pics into an online album, such as PhotoBucket, there
is a feature that lets you choose the size the pics will become as they
    are fed into the album.

My only suggestion is that when shooting from the front, you might use
more of a 3/4 angle sometimes to include a little side view of the car at the
same time. Kind of like this.............

    Thanks for posting.

Great venue! Some day I'll make it there. Thanks for the pictures.

  10. Thanks for the tips! I'll do that next time, which I guess won't be till next year. I tried that on a few, but there's so many people crammed in a small space if I got too far off to the side I ended up with more pictures of people than cars.

Nice pictures.. I was there as well. it was Nice to see a wide array of Cool looking cars... The cruise from Radium to Invermere and back was pretty neat.. It was my first time there... and wont be the last...

we went out early saturday morning and Back into the city By Midnight..

High River on the 23rd.. Be there or be square...

  15. This year was pretty strict, it used to be the cops were fairly easy going and let people light em up, within reason of course. Now I guess theres 0 tolerence.

I've never made it to High River before, maybe I'll have to change that some day!

Thanks for sharing went through there on our way to Alaska 2 years ago. Was happy to see some drivers as we passed by.

  20. None at all, I ran into my grandparents there and they rushed me through. Didn't get a chance to talk to very many people!

But I have been told that theres a 54 Chev in the area, that is rough but has the stuff I need. I'm crossing my fingers!

I havent been on here in ages, been busy with schooling. Sorry for the delay!
