Hi Guys, I can't call it a barn find. Found it in Southern California. Was given to seller by his grandfather in 1972. Never saw the road again. Had been disassembled and tucked away under a backyard carport ever since. Came with all the goodies. Believe it is a very early 34. Garnish, and cowl vent are 33. Early inner 34 doors. Only rot is in right rear wheel well and that is minor. Rest of metal is near flawless. Was once a race car as there is remnants of a very funky looking Stars and Bars paint job. Decided this was better than an RRSP. Will be holding onto it for a future project.
I thought only '34s had the hood dimple in the cowl? What else is the difference? I know the single VS dual hood latches and some other minor things.
There's quite a few choice cars selling around here at great buyer prices, but you know the same ol store, the times are tough. Thats why they're selling & that's why they're cheap. You could find a good 33/34 for $25-$30k now. People bought $500k-$800k houses in the wrong place at the wrong time & at these times it's either the car or the house. I'm cool, I love living in the BROWN neighborhood. There's color.
