I believe these beauties are mild kustoms, no chop tops beautiful paint jobs. noised deck shaved all the good stuff.

 

I must be getting old, my first thought when I looked at this was,

I reeaaly would like to see/know more about this.

 

I'm not 100% certain, but I believe that's Jimmy Vaughn's. Tim McMaster on here would be able to tell you more, as he built the Y-block for Jimmy.

 

I was told this mild custom 1950 Crestliner is from Missouri and I would like to find out who customized it. It has 51 bumpers and headlght doors. Bumper overriders are removed. The Ford crest has been removed front and rear. The hood was cleaned off, no spear, no hood ornament. The Crestliner script has been removed. The backup lights were taken off. The license surround and latch are gone. In other words, nosed and decked.

The mirrors may help identify it. The license plate bracket was mounted upside down and made the plate hang way down. It is in the correct position in this picture

It sat under a carport and hadnt been driven in a very long time.The tires had rotted off. Do you know this car? Thanks

 

I don't mean to nitpick, but the shoebox Ford has a '55 Dodge grille - not a '56 Dodge. There is a subtle difference in the raised "bumps" on the bars. The '55 has very small bumps - 'the 56 has higher ones.

 

Maybe doesnt quite fit in but is an amazing car!....No chop and has moon discs. Wish it was mine!!

Hahahaha.... NO, it doesn't quite fit in.... Sorry. Mild customs don't have rollbars, or numbers on their doors....

For this summer i built a 1964 Valiant.

 

This is my friend, and his 1957 Ranch wagon. He sold this car and built the 1931 roadster in the pic above. I paint both the roadster and the 1957 Ford. He take the biggest customprice you can win in Sweden here. The "leadslead of the year"

Thanks. Its a realy simple work, i shaved the doors and hood. then i lowered it about 3 inch. I should replace the slant six to a 318 this winter. And some moore mild bodywork to.
