That's starting to look pretty wicked. One thing my newly bought Model A body doesn't have is bondo unless they have figured out how to make bondo rust :D I did find a mention that one of our members who is local to me just happens to have metal stripping as part of his business.

If a magnet sticks to it anywhere, Ya done good!
I'd make sure the lower Z corners are well gussetted, as it's a tall lever arm acting on the lower joint.

Thanks Fella sawyer. Thats a speedway radiator, there pretty nice for the money

I have air ride on the back. The car at ride height is about 3.5 inch. Iv got alot of chassis work left, i just wanted to take a break from it and work on the body.

When i bought this car about 8 months ago i wasnt sure what i bought. I drove all the way to kentuky to buy it, we got there at 3 in the mornin, it was dark as hell and i could really see the shape of the body. So on our way home as it started getting light out, every time we stopped for gas i looked the car over, and the more it got light out the more i realized i fu44ed up. Its gonna test my metal skills thats for sure.

Started back on the frame. My goal is to have all the chassis welding done, brake lines ran, motor and tranny mounted, the front and rear end mounted in place and body back on in two weeks.
As long as i can get away from doing dishes and foldin clothes

This and HooliganHotRod's build will be a good thread watch. Bagged Hot Rods were never my thing but I can appreciate the skill and engineering you both are displaying. looking forward to seeing more. Good luck.

Keep at it man, you're making some ground now. How much chop on the coupe? it looks like 5 or 6".

Just a question, how come with a suicide front you chose to run a spring instead of front bags as well?? It would have been easy to hide the bags on a suicide front.

Nope, not yet. I'm starting on the bodywork as I have time. Will be cutting out the firewall and making a new one on the bead roller. It will be a while yet before I put the body on.
