With a pile of parts laying around Man-a-fre decided to put something together in the flair of the east coast. I stopped on my way to KKOA Salina and took some photos and asked for me to post them. It's obviously alot of mock up but he thought you guys might like a look one with me for scale im sure he'll be along after a while to answer any question or anything also has this load of wishbones and axles he's trying to move if you know any one looking
Just exactly how many inches is that channeled? I'm surprised no one's made a comment about all those axles and 'bones. How'd he get so many of them?
Jeff's got a knack for things finding him I think it's chanelled the depth of the frame and sectioned maybe 4 inches
Lies, your right haha. It is real short though. Can't recall what it's out of. I just keep thinking it needs some headers like the black possibly nail head powered coupe from circle city hotrods
Yes sir. This car was an old roundy round car still has the number on the doors, just kinda havin fun with it not going all out, using parts that were collecting dust ,32 spindles 56 pickup brakes ,corvair box, 67 olds tilt tele column just stuff that i want to use up,lost some of my storage and no room in my house garage .Thanks for stopping by Tim enjoyed you and Sarah.
Yeah i made progress on the 32 but not enough, needs glass and wiring top wood and insert then i can beat the shit out of it.Also coffin do you still need a section of 32 firewall i have a drivers side half.My problems i have too many irons in the fire.
haha aint that the truth, how about we come down and you help us swap rear gears in the impala and we'll help you wire the 32
the car kinda reminds me of that purple show car from the early 60's someone un earthed a long while back. its maybe at the south austin speed shop now. I can't recall the name, its the one with the crazy nerf bars with all the lights on it?
Where's the Man-A-Fre 4x2 intake? Saw one on a rod this weekend at the GoodGuys Northwest show. Looked as trick as ever. jack vines
id say its on the 32 right now, or still on the 31. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=695356&highlight=twilight+zone scroll down and youll see a couple purple east coast cars, the one i was thinking of is called "the twilight zone" its the one with the nerf bars and quad head lights. it reminds me of jeffs car a little less now that i look at the pix but still a cool thread of similar cars
the nail head coupe who's headers i was referring to are pictured in the 6th post on this thread http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=243680&highlight=circle+city+nailhead
