    Ha, we lost the chain holding the ramp on that side.

    No telling how far we were spraying sparks before we noticed.

    !8" "milk truck" wheels. Though they are chev pattern, the Ford versions of them wereused to improve gearing for lakes and Bonneville racing for years. Not sure if the Chev 6 lug stuff is as spendy as the Ford stuff though...

    Those are what is called Milk Truck Wheels, but they really are optional "high ground clearance" wheels for off road or bad rutted roads. Cars and trucks could be ordered with them, when new. Mopars also had similar ones.

    These were used on Land Speed Lakes cars to fit the take-off, used, Indy car racing tires that could last at high speeds.


    Now they are wanted by rodders
