Just got back from a few days on the Salt seeing new and old friends and catching a little racing. It's always a great time just being at Bonneville, no matter what. What a cool thing to stumble upon! That's one of the sexiest streamliners to ever grace the face of the salt. Those wooden streamliners is a great idea for something I could do besides working on real cars which are frustrating to say the least.
Very cool... did there happen to be a reference as to who did the carvings? They all looked pretty good.

I remembered that I have an old Stateline Casino jacket here. What it was before it became the Nugget. When Jims was across 80 and west of where the Silver Slipper (now Montego Bay) and most of the racers went to the Hidaway across the tracks. I need to get this jacket to somebody who hangs out in front of the Nugget and needs the creds as a long time guy.
