    I call 'Bull Shit'.

You mean you have no woodwork experience other than building cabinet grade framing and making joints that could be left unglued 'cause they are that tight.

I have a son that does that kind of work. He wants to put a wood floor in my '56 Sedan delivery. I told him he would have me kicked off the HAMB.

    Nice work,

  14. As the son of an ametuer cabinet maker, although very skilled self taught woodworker...I recently came to the conclusion, that ANY kind of Hot Rod Woody, would be my ULTIMATE car of choice. Love that you cut up a 4 dr, that was going NO-Where fast, and gave it a new lease on life. Quite sure Henry would approve!! Subscribed.

Crazy talent on this here message board. Very inspirational. Thanks for sharing.:)

p.s.Florida mold, weather and termites, not very friendly for woodies.

I put the glass in today,in the rear half of the car,so the rear end is nearly finnished.Painted the roof two coats also.
Now I need a radiohead for the dashboard.

Oh so fine! Woodies are the best hot rod you can have.

  21. Um...Holy shit. This is great. The last time someone homemade a woodie on here, it looked like a piano crate on wheels.

  22. Incredible...

I would love to find an old cowl or whatever and do something like that but I wouldn't know where to start.

You never cease to amaze me! ... It's just not fair that you have this much talent! ... First a "BLACKSMITH" [with your '36 3wd Coupe (built from a Tudor sedan) and your '32 3wd Coupe (built from an English Tudor sedan)] ... and now a "CARPENTER" [building a '37 Woodie (from a Fordor sedan)]!

I don't remember if I told you ... but in 1887 through 1900, my great-grandparents lived near your hometown of Verdal, Norway (on a farm called "Storholmen", on the south side of the Verdal River) ... My great-grandfather was a very skilled "CARPENTER" and casket-maker ... Unfortunately, I didn't inherit any of his talents.

Your '37 Woodie is going to be bitchin' ... Please keep us updated on your progress!

Yes,HEMI32,I drove through Storholmen a week ago with my -32 coupe going to a bike meet in Sweden.Thats 30 km from where I live.
The world is so small sometimes..

Got a phonecall today,so I have to go to work for a couple of weeks.
Made a list of small things I can make in my sparetime at work.Besides that nothing is happening with the woodie. Thanks for all the nice comments on my build.

1814 Denmark gave Norway to Sweden, but we gave it up 1905.

And now they got oil, and amazing Hot Rod Builders.

Bummer, we should let them invade us and pay our government debts :)
