Just a friendly warning, they look like young healthy guys, and it is probably not bothering them right now. I watched the video all the way through and believe me or not they are breathing way more of it than is healthy. Take it from somebody that thought the same thing once upon a time, or not, it is their call.

Ken and his boys are in Utah as of a couple hours ago. Just outside Salt Lake. They ran into the Rollin Bones, who were rolling a caravan something like 40 strong and had some laughs.

 

That is crazy cool!!!!

 

WOW, Kenny made good time, he always does. Partying with the Boners Circus, what a blast.

 

He claimed after the last month of 7 days a week on the race car and the past 4 days sitting in the cab of his truck his normally jovial social mood was dialed in at a solid 2... He's on a mission, expect him to be his loud jovial self the the Ty-Rods show

But he is making great time towing that rig he has...

 

On the Salt...

 

Ken said it passed tech with flying colors. should be a record breaking Saturday. fingers crossed.

 

Kenny knows his stuff !!! And it ain't his 1st rodeo. Hope all goes well...and really fast !!!

WOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! We didn't just break the record - we SMASHED IT!!!!! 160 mph! The old record was 153 and an extra 7 mph is a HUGE advancement in this class. I am so proud of Ken and Matt Makuch and Danny Makuch - they rock! Go Makuch Racing!!!! The car is heading to impound for verification and Ken is floating on cloud nine. Photos to come . . .

 

That is awesome! Way to go! Just called the pit crew to confirm. Gotta back it up tomorrow. Kenny says he's got more mph left. Here's a pic from Mazooma1's awesome thread.

Talked to Ken, Friday he hit 138mph and the car was all over the place. He came back and noticed tire pressure issued. Pumped up the tires and went out this am and hit 160.6 mph. like Scott said he is in impound and will back it up tomorrow am. His shift light was on and he backed off, when he got back to the pits he noticed the shift light was 1000 rpm low so that's why he thinks there is another 5+ mph in the car.
