Great trade, way easier to find girl freinds then orignal cars!

Keep the car and let her "borrow it" when ever she wants to, that way you get to keep the car if things go south with the girlfriend.

Nice to see an original car that has been left untouched sometimes.

Nice find and best of luck with it.

Very nice. In my area, stockers were a rarity for quite awhile. They just weren't coming out until recently. Now, they're everywhere, not that I mind, mine is a stocker. I was at a show with a friend of mine and it was loaded with A's. He looks at me and says: "What's goin' on here? You can't swing a dead cat without hittin' a stock Model A". I got a laugh out of it. You wonder who thinks these things up.

That girl friend should be pleased. Restore? Ok. It is being preserved. BUT! That word 'street-rod' is like 'rat rod', do it some place else-cool.

Think of it as a preservation for future hamb'rs to hot rod in the future... because someday... there will come a time when all stock bodies have been chopped, pie cut, channeled, etc. Thankfully it is a long ways away but it will come someday... i wonder what will happen? Will people start unchopping deuces to make them stock height again? Hmmmm something to imagine..
