I'm currently working on a new book for Cartech. I need a clean, fun shot of the Shifter's Purple People Eater and also Jimmy Shine's '33(?) pickup, to make a point in the book. It has to be a shot you took yourself, so we can get you to sign a permission form, allowing us to use it without getting our pants sued off. If you didn't really shoot the photo, be advised, you'll be sued and will rot away in a Mexican jail. I know these cars aren't the most popular on here, but I don't have any shots myself, so am at your mercy. We can't pay a dime for these, but you will get photo credit in the book, which I believe is how Ansel Adams started, with his iconic shot of the Jocko Porting Service dragliner. It could happen to you! Thanks, Scotty
Wouldn't it be more appropriate to contact Shine at So Cal and then you wouldn't need to worry about any litigation?
Hi Roger! Well, I've been in a hurry (deadlines, you know)... Otherwise, great - life is sweet in Scottyville...
Yes, it would. Thanks - I get in a hurry and don't slow down to think sometimes (it's been a hectic day).
Yes, I believe so - every day at sunrise. So it really isn't that bad of a gig... Anyone know Marky's HAMB name?
No luck so far contacting Marky or J. Shine (but I think I'll 'shine' him on). So who has the Pulitzer winning shot of the PPE??? Let's try this again. Thanks in advance, Scotty
Just curious, but why these 2 cars. i mean they are both really cool rides but they have been photoed to death.
Contact Marky directly, it's his car and you'll need permission from the copyright owners of existing photos. Plus Axle hasn't been in the club for a couple of years so he cannot address anything related to club buisness. If you don't have Marky's contact info PM me your contact info and I'll pass it on to Marky.
