Gas price shot up to 3.57 from 3.32 in one day. I was wondering why and I realized the Street Rod Nationals will be in Lou. next week. Got to love It!
Don't believe todays price hike was due to the Nats. Next week look for the Nats price hike. It will go higher yet.
Consider yourselves lucky. Up in good old British Columbia we pay more than $5.00 for four litres, which is less than a gallon.
Yea, I noticed, someone in OPEC can fart and gas prices will go up, bad part about it I put off filling up yesterday.
I drive a Ford diesel truck as my daily......a town 40 minutes from me its $3.35 at their 2 local stations. Anywhere else its still $3.75??? Although their gasoline is only about a dime cheaper than everwhere else, I just don't get it and I think they like it that way.
Gas prices are directly proportional to how greedy the station owner is feeling on any particular day.Case in point: Prices around here usually change on Tuesdays.Tuesday morning I'm driving to a job out of town and I notice that the price of a gallon of regular is $3.45. Coming back two hours later the price is now $3.79 per gallon.Thirty four cents a gallon in two hours! The last race weekend here(we are 15 miles from Michigan Int'l Speedway)the price only went up by 25 cents per gallon.
For those coming to the Streetrod Nationals, get your gas before you get into Louisville. It's cheaper coming in from all directions before you get there. http://www.pilotflyingj.com/fuel-prices?per_page=0&filters=
No it's not. A US Gallon is a hair under 3.8L. An Imperial Gallon is 4.5L. That's why a car that gets 25mpg in the US might show closer to 30mpg in a British car magazine..
