thanks for all the compliments! it's amazing what a new roof can do to the whole attitude of a car.

never in my wildest dreams did i imagine my roof turning out like this. when harpoon and i had started talking about this months ago, i had told him i wanted a tangerine flaked roof. i basically left everything else up to him.

we would talk every now and then, while he was still in cali, and everytime, he had some great new idea. the first was the chrome tape. CHROME TAPE! i've seen it in the old mags, but haven't seen it in person before.

then he tells me he's thinking about 2 big panels on either side of the tape, with candy tangerine fades.

then, when he's up here spaying, the car tells him it really wants lace. who's gonna argue with a big ol pontiac??

and the whole top was incorporated into the interior. the dash got panels, and the rest of the interior metal was done in silver flake.

the plan is the chrome the bottom half of the dash this winter. should carry the theme of the chrome tape pretty well.

once again, a HUGE thank you to the Harpoon. this guy busted his ass to get these cars done. he pulled multiple 14 hour days, and even a 24 hour day! great guy all around. he even found time to pinstripe my girlfriends lowrider bike.

Thanks for all the kind words. I just appreciated the oppourtunity to do this work. Seattle is a great place, but it is the people there that makes it.

I got to cruise the poncho on my last day up there. First thing I did after getting a wash was pick up the greatest hits of "WAR". I could not believe Eric did not have it with that kind of ride. What a beautiful day. If you have not rolled Seattle in a mild kustom/lowrider, I highly recommed it! At least hit highway 99!
